Academic advisory council

Expertise transfer and innovation

We secure the Fürstenberg Institut’s innovation and quality standards by working closely together with our academic advisory council. Regular council meetings are held in order to develop the Institute even further and generate ideas for new products and services. 

Our academic advisory council is made up of renowned personalities from the world of science and academia. The council comprises the following members:

Neurobiologist, author of popular scientific books, Chairman of the "Academy for Potential Development" (Akademie für Potentialentfaltung)


Prof. Dr. med. Joachim E. Fischer

Director of the Mannheim Institute of Public Health at the Medical Faculty Mannheim, University of Heidelberg, Social and Preventive Medicine


Dr. med. rer. Pol. Gunther Schmidt

Head of the Milton-Erickson Institute Heidelberg, Managing Director of the sysTelios Health Centre, Siedelsbrunn


Prof. Dr. Klaus Hurrelmann

Professor of Public Health and Education, Hertie School of Governance, Berlin; previously Professor of Health Sciences at Bielefeld University.
